Jeanette Nance is a dedicated civic servant with a heart for Oklahoma. She holds a degree in political science and public administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and is working on a Masters of Public Administration. Before joining the KOB team, she served as Director of Constituent Services for Governor Brad Henry and in External Affairs at the OK Dept. of Environmental Quality, along with other roles. She serves on the OK ScienceFest Steering Committee, the OKRA Board, the OK Green Schools Board, the American Society of Public Administrators of OK Advisory Council, and the University of Central Oklahoma MPA Advisory Council.
Miranda is a NextGen under 30 Texan turned Oklahoman. She is a graduate of the Oklahoma Christian University, where she studied Communication Design + Marketing. When she is not working on making Oklahoma more beautiful, you can find her pursuing her hobbies of traveling, trying new vegan recipes, hiking, or on Hochatime. She is determined to hike every national park and visit every MLB baseball stadium.
Acacia is the Office Administrator here at Keep Oklahoma Beautiful. Her previous experience with office work, nannying, and retail sales made her realize she had a heart for people, specifically helping people. She is grateful that in this position she can help not only her fellow staff, but her fellow Oklahomans who are also desiring to do better for our world. When she is not behind her computer, you can find her taking her fur-baby, Maggie the Aussie, for a run around the lake near her home, or spending time with her soon-to-be husband.
Jessika Bergeron, our Recycle Facilitator, is a graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma where she studied Fashion Marketing with two minors in Fine Arts and Business Administration. With a heart for nonprofits and bettering her community, Jessika has a strong passion for people, especially our future leaders. She strives to reach as many communities as possible to increase the number of ambassadors for recycling. She serves as the coordinator for KOB’s Litter Education program that spreads the message of recycling through creative projects. When Jessika is not in the office, she usually spends quality time with her husband, loved ones, or her sweet American short hair tabby cat.

Shavara Johnson, Website + Blog Contributor, is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where she studied English with a minor in Public Relations. She joined the KOB team in January 2018 and has a strong passion for reaching as many communities as she can to expand the education regarding recycling. When she isn’t in the office you can find her showering her sweet baby boy with kisses, going on dinner dates with her husband or chasing her crazy cat around the house. Having lived in Oklahoma City for only two years Shavara finds herself in love with this charming city, the amazing Thunder fans and the diverse selection of amazing restaurants. Shavara has lived in over seven states from birth until adulthood and has been quick to feel at home in this beautiful state. She hopes to empower as many people as she can to preserve the natural beauty of this great state.
